What is "Kompass"?

Business partner search services are provided by BIC as a regional representative of the International information Network "Kompass" to companies interested in establishing new contacts and expanding their business, offer two scenarios:

1. Placement of information about your company

Information about your company can be placed on a free or a chargeable basis, the latter having a number of advantages and extra possibilities:

• in "Kompass" database on the Internet
• in "Kompass" electronic editions
• in "WA-2 Register. Products manufacturers and service providers"

2. Provision of access to a database of companies

The service consists of rendering chargeable access to a database of companies:

• KOMPASS DB at www.kompass.com – world-wide database KOMPASS International.
• 1.800.000 companies from 75 countries, including Russia.
• KOMPASS DB at www.kompass.ru – KOMPASS database in Russian.
  95.000 companies in Russia.
• KOMPASS Concord CD-ROM – multinational multilingual register for industry and trade in countries of CIS and Eastern Europe.
  More then 325.000 companies. Issued on a monthly basis.
• KOMPASS Russia CD-ROM – register for industry and trade of the Russian Federation.
  More then 81.000 companies.
  Issued on a monthly basis.
• "WA-2 Register. Products manufacturers and service providers" – annual print edition.
  Issued since 1991.

How to place information?

If you would like information about your company to be placed in the database of "Kompass" international system, please open this questionnaire (profile) (Word, 80 Kb) and fill in as many fields as possible to present full information.

Later we will inform you about adding your company’s information to "Kompass" database.
