Overall goal of the project is to facilitate economic development of the Kaliningrad region, mainly through strengthening of and support to the
Regional Development Agency (RDA) and its strategic partners on the federal and regional levels.
The project’s specific objectives are:
- Assistance to shaping federal and regional policy for economic development of the region.
- Improvement of the legal and regulatory framework
for economic activity in the region.
- Facilitation of the region’s economic partnership with the EU and attraction of investments in the region.
- Further strengthening of the RDA’s
capacity to pursue the above objectives after the completion of the project.
These objectives are supposed to be achieved in close partnership with the RDA and its strategic partners on the federal and regional levels.
