The RDA aims to be the major player in leading reforms based on the economic research, intelligence, planning and business support needed for the transformation from the current position to the Oblast vision. By 2012, Kaliningrad Oblast will be a fully developed modern economy, ranked among the top 5 Regions in Russia in terms of GRP, with strong and progressive economic relations with the surrounding EU member countries. |

The mission:
Regional Development Agency aims to be the main provider of economic research, regional development forecasting and enterprise support in the Region with the following activities:
To assist the economic growth of the Kaliningrad Region and develop new mechanisms for cooperation between Russia and the EU.
To improve the attractiveness of the Region for new investment by encouraging the competitive, commercial activities of companies and organisations and by creating a favourable and stable business environment.
To provide an international, committed, independent and professional resource, capable of taking the leading position in the overall economic development of the Region, and of making significant direct contributions to the research, planning and implementation of the strategies necessary.
